Very cool! Might have to do something similar with a Mora Flex blade. Although after twenty- something years of sharpening knives, I've come to realise I hate Scandi grinds. They're perfectly fine in the bush or the workshop, but for everyday use I'd much rather a standard hollow/v grind. Easier to maintain, less meat behind the shoulders.

Little tip to apply the PVA I used a trigger spray bottle perfect it got into all the nooks and crannies.

Cobalt drill bits with a plasticine ring around the area to hold cutting fluid - much easier than faffing about with a blowtorch & risking the blade temper.

I definitely prefer a crockpot to a burner. The crockpot can never be accidentally turned up too high.
